The SSC Tuatara (pronounced twa-tar-ah) is an American sports car to be produced by SSC North America (formerly Shelby SuperCars Inc.). The vehicle is the successor to the SSC Ultimate Aero and is the result of a design collaboration between Jason Castriotaand SSC. It will be powered by a twin turbo V8 creating 1,350 HP and an estimated top speed of 276 miles per hour (444 km/h).[1]
